Needle Felting Starter Kits

Give yourself permission to be bold . . . and to experiment with a host of feelings, colors and textures! Roving is the randomly twisted strands of yarn, usually rolled into a ball, before the finishing processing stages produce ready-to-knit yarn. (See the photo below.) Needle felting utilizing this intriguing yarn has been around for a long time, but only recently has it been applied to knitted garments to give them a unique and special look. Use it to create small three-dimensional figures, or simple embellishments. Scarves can quickly be decorated, as can beautiful sweaters and jackets. One can easily knit a plain garment in basic stockinette, but with some simple felting, that scarf or garment can become something spectacular.
